Slawek and Grace Kossakowski grew up in Warsaw, Poland and moved to Chicago in 1980. After living in big cities all their lives, they took a plunge and headed south for the beautiful rolling hills of Tennessee. Back in the big city, Slawek and Grace only had to care for their three amazing kids Agatha, Ashley, and Peter, who have since grown up and stayed in cities. Now, in an extreme case of either empty nest syndrome or a mid-life crisis, these city kids-turned-cattle-ranchers care for approximately 300 acres of green pasture, about 100 cows, two dogs named Dory and Bella, and a whole bunch of birds: chickens, geese, and ducks.
